Dr. Burdette is a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (Dayton, Ohio) and completed both his internship (2000) and residency (2003) in Internal Medicine at Wright State University.  He was named the most outstanding intern and resident for the Department of Internal Medicine and Miami Valley Hospital.  After serving as the Chief Resident he moved on to complete his Infectious Diseases Fellowship (2005) at Wright State as well.  After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Burdette became Medical Director of Infectious Diseases and Section Chief of Internal Medicine for Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, Ohio and joined the faculty at Wright State University as an Assistant Professor of Medicine.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a member of AOA.  Dr. Burdette has 17 PubMed referenced publications and 2 book chapters.  Research interests includeClostridium difficile  diarrhea, bacteremia, septic arthritis, infections in the burn unit and information technology.
