Dr. Fantry is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical School and Institute of Human Virology, Baltimore, Maryland.  Her research, teaching, and clinical interests are sexually transmitted diseases, especially HIV.  Since 1997 she has been the medical director of the Evelyn Jordan Center Clinic, a clinic which serves 1800 HIV infected, and the principal investigator on numerous Ryan White grants which have totaled 14 million dollars.
