Dr. Chang is a medical graduate of National Defense Medical Center, Taipei. He completed his internship and Residency at Tri-Service General Hospital in Taipei. He got DMS degree from the Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences at National Defense Medical Center. He did his research fellowship in Infectious Diseases at University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include community-acquired and health-care associated infections especially focus on the pathogenesis and outcome of Klebsiella pneumoniae  and Staphylococcus aureus infection. He has published over 150 publications including abstract and book chapters.
