Dr
Sweeney graduated from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in
2001. He completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine, Jacobi Medical center in 2004. He completed an
infectious disease fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in
2007. He is currently at the National Institutes of Health, Critical
Care Medicine. Dr. Sweeney's research interests include steroids and
sepsis and cardiopulmonary effects of anthrax toxins.
