Dr. Gene Morse has been actively involved in
HIV clinical pharmacology research since the introduction of antiretrovirals in
1986. Dr. Morse directs NIH-supported research programs through the UB ACTG
Pharmacology Specialty Laboratory and a contract for the HIV Clinical
Pharmacology Quality Assurance program. These programs integrate with the UB
Fogarty International Center AIDS International Training and Research Program
that Dr. Morse directs with the University of Zimbabwe. Dr. Morse is also the
Associate Director of the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics
and Life Sciences and is the Associate Director of the UB Institute for
Healthcare Informatics.
